Product Fundamentals
- Introduction (1-hr)
- HVAC Terminology (1-hr)
- Basic 1-2 hour overview of each of the following HVAC products
- Wall Fin, Convectors
- Coils
- Fan Coils, Unit Ventilators, Blower Coils, Unit Heaters
- VAV Boxes, Diffusers
- PTAC
- Self-Contained
- Split Systems
Purpose: This training will help you understand the basic construction of each of these products. We will discuss various design parameters that need to be considered when applying this type of equipment. Throughout this course, we will regularly discuss the ‘first-cost’ vs. ‘operating costs’ ramifications of each possible choice. |
